WHY RECKONING FIGURES?
Make the next step
clear.
Students need practice they can work through. Parents need to see what’s getting done. Teachers need a useful way to act on what they see.
Reckoning Figures brings focused Algebra 1 practice, assignments, and visible completion into an experience built around moving forward.
01 / FROM INFORMATION TO ACTION
A report should lead
to a next step.
Knowing that a student needs help is only the beginning. Choosing what to work on next should be part of the same teaching routine.
Review. Choose. Assign.
Review saved assignment results in the school workspace, then choose a few figures or a unit for the next assignment. Keep the teaching decision in your hands.
Teachers choose the next practice. Automatic diagnostic recommendations are not currently available.

02 / PROGRESS PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND
Give “How’s it going?”
a clearer answer.
Families shouldn’t have to decode a dashboard just to know whether practice is happening.
See the work that’s getting done.
Connected parents can see synced figure completions and practice days, assign practice, and follow assignment completion. Optional email updates let them know when a new figure completion is saved.
Family progress covers synced independent practice; school assignment reports remain in the school workspace. Completion records practice done, not proof of mastery.

03 / DIFFERENT STARTING POINTS
A place to practice.
Not a label.
A student can feel comfortable with one topic and need another explanation on the next. That should be a reason to explore, not a permanent category.
Find a figure. Take it step by step.
Browse Algebra 1 by unit, revisit a figure, and use hints and retries as you work. Practice can sit alongside a class, between tutoring sessions, or within a learner’s own routine.
Current course: Algebra 1. Reckoning Figures supplements instruction; it does not make placement or acceleration decisions.

OUR STANDARD
Useful practice.
Honest progress.
We’re building for the moment a learner knows what to try next—and the adult supporting them knows how to help. Our first pilot will help us understand what works and where we need to improve.
We’re not claiming proven learning gains yet. We’re inviting students and educators to help us earn that trust.
